Better Weeks

So this probably wasn't the best week to start my husband on this way of eating.  We have two January birthdays in the house and my focus was on that and not on blood type A food preparation.  I don't think I've seen him look so hungry and dissatisfied ever.

There were a few successes though.  One was a Miso Glazed Fish that he enjoyed and the boys loved.  We'll definitely be making it again (if I can find the recipe).  His new lunch go to will probably be an Avocado Chicken Salad that I found on Becoming Betty.  We left out the mayo and pepper and he still loved it.  We also tried baking eggs in avocado halves with a little bit of cilantro and sea salt... another success and recipe keeper.

Despite, my lack of culinary planning this week, he did fantastic staying as close to 100% beneficial and allowable foods as he could.  He even called me from Monster Jam with the two younger boys to check if certain foods were allowed!  I promised him I would bake some treats this week, blood type A beneficial of course.  So check back next week because my husband has requested Bite-Size Blueberry Muffins.  I'll have pictures and the recipe for these breakfast treats that are to die for!

  1. Anna, I am an O and everything I have read says no avocados unless they are from FL. How do you feel when eating so much avocado? I love them, but have stayed away since I feel so much better... just curious.

  2. I try not to eat avocado. When I have recipes that use avocado, they are geared towards A's like my husband and some of my kids. I admit that I miss them though.
