My husband has been much happier eating for his blood type this week. With birthdays and all the post holiday craziness completely out of the way, I was able to spend more time in the kitchen. These were his favorite Blood Type A recipes at this point in the journey:

- Blood Type A and O
- Black Cod with Miso by RasaMalaysia
- Blood Type A (we O's ate it too even though the sake and mirin are probably avoids)
- Tofu French Fries by White on Rice Couple
- Blood Type A and O
- Modifications: I added a couple tablespoons of Sweet Rice Flour
to make them a little crispier
- Crock Pot Turkey White Bean Pumpkin Chili by SkinnyTaste.com
- Blood Type A (using modifications) and O (as is)
- Modifications: leave out the chili powder, green chiles, and pepper
- Note: I used White Northern Beans, Black-eyed Peas, and Mung Beans and opted not to use canned beans
- Avocado Chicken Salad by Becoming Betty
- Blood Type: A
- Modifications: leave out the mayo and pepper
- Persimmon Smoothie by The Gracious Pantry
- Blood Type A and O
- Modifications: use almond or soy milk
- Fluffy Spelt Pumpkin Pancakes by One Messy Kitchen
- Blood Type A and O
- Note: Spelt Flour
can be used in place of regular flour in any recipe
- Avocado Hummus by The Lovely Cupboard

- Modifications: leave out the cayenne peppers and serve with Newman's Own Organics Spelt Pretzels
- Lemon Blueberry Baked Oatmeal by Prevention Rd
- Blood Type A and O
- Modifications: we substituted ghee, clarified butter
and used soy milk
- Tomato-Free Marinara Sauce by Adventures of a Gluten Free Mom

- Modifications: we left out the black pepper and balsamic vinegar and added a squeeze of lemon
